SUCRA-LOCA MAP (2026)

This piece took me some considerable time - drawing-wise, only a handful of hours, but the planning was much more difficult than I had anticipated. I had a general idea of what the land would look like, but the names were the difficult part. I will probably add more to this map later down the line, like cities, towns, and railways. In lore, these type of map would be one-in-a-million. Most people would only know about their local area, maybe a county. The first map would be something reserved for the nobility and the most prestegious of military officials. The second, while with lower quality, would still be quite expensive for the common person to purchase.

RAID ON MONASTIC’S HILL (2025)

Over the course of The War, Djenling from the Moving City of Yanta-Yuri have dispersed amongst the Trenchscapes; small Antitheistic war bands seeking to plunder the churches of the Seraphim for both treasures and slaves - a sort of revenge for the troubling history enslavement and murder caused by the Seraphim’s followers against the Djenling. While much of the fighting is done between these two entities, smaller churches tend to get caught in the crossfire. Nestled deep in the highlands, far from the mega cities, an unfortunate monastery has been discovered by one of these war bands. Though Adherents of the Trench Knight - unassociated with the Seraphim’s Domain. The Scout had lived with them for a while, taken in after being ambushed by Seraphim forces and nursed to health. He was reclusive at first, but began to interact with the nuns and monks of the monastery as time passed. His remaining war band had located him after a month, and unwilling to leave the battlefield empty-handed; their riches seem too valuable to ignore and the apprehension of the cloistered folk for labor would prove beneficial to Yanta-Yuri’s survival. What would it matter if this monastery was loyal to the Seraphim or not - to his war bad, all the churches they had come across previously were the same. The Captain tested his loyalty with a simple task, giving him the revolver and setting the head monk before him.Time stopped for that moment, his face contorted - perhaps into resolve and loyalty, perhaps apprehension. No one could tell…

BIG BASTARD (2026)

Deep within the hinterlands of the Piyaqu Steppe and Behemoth’s Veld, there once roamed a horrid, mechanical, beast known as Big Bastard. It was the greatest of all the Behemoths: bloodthirsty and cruel, it had massacred millions across the generations it was allowed to crawl across the plains. It was known to take trophies of the towns it destroyed, from buildings to vehicles, building for itself a mighty horde-fortress. A coalition was formed as a means to put an end to Big Bastard’s reign: Djenling from the land ship Yanta-Yuri, Djenling of the Piyaqu Steppe, Idro from Castle Vakiro, and a handful of Harqaa shamans. Forming a band of a thousand strong, they fought against the beast, millions of rounds shelling against it. In the many weeks it took to fell the beast, only ten of the original thousand remained. Big Bastard had been defeated, but unable to harvest the body, its mechanized corpse was left upon the bloodstained land, sinking into the red slop. Overtime, a town was built atop the back of the beast, earning the name of Big Bastard - a neutral ground for the races of the four nations. While tensions between the peoples returned as the years passed on, many within Big Bastard were able to live in a cautious peace with each other. However, in recent times, many of the townsfolk had begun noticing a growing amount of rumblings from underneath - nearby expeditionary crews being sent to investigate the town, keeping the region under close watch.

NEVER SURRENDER - JUSTICE SHALL REIGN (2025)

I wanted to try my hand at making propaganda posters that would be seen in the world - this is my first digital attempt. I am quite fond of using halftones for texture - I feel it adds tremendously to my work. As the title says, the phrase below acts as a call to persevere in the face of sturggle and the iconic Trench Knight is used as that symbol. The language is known as Trench Pidgin - a hodgepodge trade language used so that everyone had a general language for communication.

THE TRENCH KNIGHT (2024)

One of the first pieces I decided to use ProCreate for. I remember not enjoying ProCreate as much when I first began, I was initially content using SketchBookP Pro. Though, my girlfriend was insistent that I start using it and I am quite happy I do now! It’s opened a new world for me, allowing me access to a bunch of useful tools, along with an easier way to film my work. But, talking more about the piece, I wanted to depict the Trench Knight in a hellish scene - quite a common sight in the Trenchscape. The Trench Knight is a lot older than one might initially realize, his symbol: the Trimark, having origins dating further back than the Entrenching War that’s been ongoing for a millennia.

PATROL INTO GHÛL COUNTRY (2024)

The last piece I did of 2024. Ghûl Country is a massive, desolate, marsh - rife with horrid beasts and countless Ghûls and Warlocks. Though, it lies in the heart of what was once the great Kingdom of the Somatic Diviners - the ancestors of the Khuzang’aro. Many relics and artifacts possessing immense arcane abilities can be found here, some of them having the ability to change the whole tide of war. Patrols have been sent here, many dying or going missing in the process. Though, for some of the great cities across the continent, many can trace their origins to being backwater townships - transforming into the powerhouses today because of one successful patrol into Ghûl Country.

PILGRIMAGE (2024)

Tales have been passed around the continent of ancient shrines standing tall within the Karkenzithes - great rifles of gargantuan size, towering over all who encounter them. Legend has it that these weapons were once wielded by beings known as the “Old Soldiers” - advanced super weapons said to battle Behemoths. They say these great rifles mark a grave of an Old Soldier, others say that they have been left there as a promise to return one day - though no one agrees from whence they would return from: either from the great Hell Tunnels below or from the Spire - the tallest mountain in the continent, visible from all corners. A lone Djenling sniper visits this shrine, paying homage before heading to battle.
